ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Cooperative “GALENA” 50-984 Wrocław, 62 Krucza Street

Management Board of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Cooperative “GALENA” declares that the company’s operation is the manufacturing of patent medicines and pharmaceutical substances in accordance with applicable provisions of Pharmaceutical Law, Quality Assurance System (consistent with  GMP regulations) in connection with legal regulations and decisions held regarding environmental protection.
The superior aim of the company’s operation is care for the health of customers / patients using our medicines.
Our company implements Environmental Policy by:

· conducting manufacturing processes in the manner that is environmentally safe,

· implementation and improvement of Environmental Quality System consistent with the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard,

· improvement of actions concerning waste disposal /segregation and recycling/ and water-sewage management,

· reduction of emission to the air,

· analyzing manufacturing techniques applied and implementation of changes in order to reduce their impact on the environment,

· constant modernization of machine facilities in order to obtain the optimum use of raw materials and power factors,

· preventing failures which could have a negative impact on the environment,

· organizing training sessions and raising employees awareness about environmental protection,

· preferred cooperation with suppliers who have implemented Environmental Management Systems.

In order to achieve the above listed goals, the company accept and undertakes the following principles and obligations:

· Environmental protection and its proper securing is treated by the Management Board of FSP “GALENA” at the same level as assuring quality of products manufactured by us.

· During operation the company is committed to constant improvement and preventing environmental pollution.

· The company is obliged to comply with and apply requirements and other regulations concerning environmental aspects.

· The company openly cooperates with interested parties.

· The Management Board of FSP “GALENA” ensures available means necessary to realize adopted environmental tasks.

· Environmental Policy is publicly available.
